Lok Kalp Foundation Organizes Faculty Development Program at Baburao Thakur Independent P.U. College, Jamboti

In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering educators, Lok Kalp Foundation, under the CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, organized a Faculty Development Program at Baburao Thakur Independent P.U. College, Jamboti. The program was designed for teachers of primary and higher education from 32 villages adopted by the foundation, striving to enhance the educational standards in rural areas.

The event witnessed the presence of prominent guests, including Mrs. Rajashri Kudchi, Block Education Officer (BEO) of Khanapur Taluka, as the Chief Guest. In her speech, she praised the efforts of Lok Kalp Foundation in supporting rural education and emphasized the importance of such training programs for teachers.  “This initiative will certainly bring a positive change in the teaching methods adopted in rural schools. Empowering teachers is essential for the growth of our students, especially in villages.”  Smt. Laxmi Maruti Talawar, Gram Panchayat Chairman of Jamboti, all of whom stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to uplift rural education

The program was graced by Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Founder and Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, who expressed his vision for a better educational system through constant teacher development. He was accompanied by Shri Ajit A. Gargatti, Vice Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd. and Chairman Lok Kalp Foundation, Shri Pandhari Parab, Director LMCS. Ltd, and Dr. Damodar Wagle, Director LMCS. Ltd were present. Dr. Kiran D. Thakur “Our mission is to ensure that quality education reaches every corner of society, especially in rural areas. The role of teachers is pivotal in shaping the future of childrens, and through this program, we aim to equip them with the tools to succeed.”

Mr. Parag Gandhi, Trainer:  The Faculty Development Program included various interactive workshops focusing on innovative teaching methods, classroom management, and leadership development. The initiative aimed to provide teachers with the necessary skills to enhance their educational delivery, ultimately benefiting the students in these 32 villages.

Among the key figures present were Shri Kiran Gawade, Director of Lok Kalp Foundation and representatives from Lok Kalp Foundation including Mrs. Malini Bali, CSR Manager, Mr. Surajsingh RajputMr. Pritesh PotekarMr. Kishor Naik, and Volunteers Mr. Santosh KadamMr. Anant Gawade played an integral role in organizing the event and also Mr. Satyawrat Naik, Mr. Guruprasad Tangankar, Mr. Nishant Jadhav, Ms. Rasika Gurav, and Ms. Swapnali Kadam were present for the event.  All teachers from 32 villages who attended the event and appreciated as well.
