A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
Lok Kalp Foundation and Venugram Hospital Belgaum Free General Health Camp in Betne village
Lok Kalp Foundation in collaboration with Venugram Hospital Belgaum organized a free general health camp in Betne village dated September 24, 2024, located in the remote forest areas of Khanapur Taluka, Belgaum district. This initiative was part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts by Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd. The Founder and Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, has adopted 32 villages as part of this CSR initiative.
Betne village peoples were consulted and checked with weight, BP (Blood Pressure), RBS (Random Blood Glucose), and given free medicines by Lok Kalp Foundation and around 66 peoples were attended the camp.
From Lok Kalp Foundation Mr. Kishor Naik and volunteer Mr. Santosh Kadam and Mrs. Suhasini Pednekar were present for the camp. Venugram Hospital Belgaum official doctors Dr. Sana Hudli, nursing staff Irrana, PRO (Public Relation Officer) Mr. Shrikant Patil, Mr. Jagadish Belgaumkar, and Mr. Yogesh Deshpande were present for the camp and Betne village people were appreciated as same.
