Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Nandadeep Eye Hospital, successfully conducted free cataract surgeries for patients from Talawade Village on December 12, 2024. This initiative was undertaken to provide much-needed eye care services to rural communities, ensuring better vision and improved quality of life.
The surgeries were performed by Dr. Shruthi Revankar and Dr. Joshna Patil, with the support of Nandadeep Hospital’s admin staff, Aniruddh, and Irrayya Mastmardi, and PRO Anand Tuppad. Lok Kalp Foundation staff members Prasad Asukar and Aniket Patil were also present to facilitate the program and assist patients.
The patients and their families expressed gratitude for the timely intervention and care provided free of cost. Lok Kalp Foundation and Nandadeep Eye Hospital remain committed to improving healthcare access in rural areas and addressing critical medical needs.
