On 7 January 2025, Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with the Horticulture Department, Belgaum, successfully organized a Honey Bee Training Program at Jamboti, Khanapur. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills in beekeeping to promote sustainable livelihoods.
The program benefited residents from the 32 villages adopted by Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd., focusing on hive management, honey extraction, and ecological sustainability. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by Lok Kalp Foundation to empower rural communities and provide them with opportunities for economic growth.
The training was met with enthusiasm and is expected to have a lasting impact on improving livelihoods while fostering sustainable practices in the region.
