Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital — a unit of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Belgaum — successfully organized a Free Eye Camp at Ghose village, Khanapur, on 12th March 2025.

This noble initiative was designed with the core objective of promoting better eye health among rural communities and offering essential ophthalmic services at no cost. The camp provided comprehensive eye check-ups, preliminary screenings, consultations, and guidance for further treatment, aiming to detect early signs of vision-related disorders such as cataracts, refractive errors, and other ocular conditions.

Over 60 villagers availed the benefits of this medical outreach program, receiving personalized attention and advice from skilled professionals. The medical team from Netradarshan Hospital included Mr. Uday Kumar (Assistant Manager), Mr. Rahul Medar (Optometrist), and Mr. Jana Kumar (Optometrist), who played a vital role in delivering quality eye care with dedication and compassion.

Representing Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Sandeep Patil and Mr. Santosh Kadam actively participated in coordinating logistics and ensuring the camp ran efficiently. Their efforts were crucial in engaging the local community and encouraging participation, thereby amplifying the camp’s impact.

Such initiatives are a testimony to Lok Kalp Foundation’s unwavering commitment to rural development and public health welfare. By bridging the healthcare accessibility gap in underserved regions, the foundation continues to empower lives, raise awareness, and contribute to building a healthier society. The foundation also intends to conduct similar camps in neighboring villages in the near future, ensuring the vision of “Health for All” becomes a reality.
