Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Arihant Hospital, Belgaum, successfully organized a Free General Health Camp at Talawade village in the Khanapur region. The camp was conducted with the primary objective of promoting health awareness, encouraging early diagnosis, and providing quality healthcare services to underserved rural communities.
The health camp witnessed a positive response, benefiting nearly 56 villagers who availed free medical consultations, general health check-ups, and essential health advice. Participants underwent preliminary screenings for common ailments such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory conditions, and other general health concerns. Medicines were also distributed free of cost to those in need, ensuring immediate relief and promoting continued treatment.
The medical team from Arihant Hospital included Dr. Aishwarya Billanavar, Ms. Laxmi Patil, Mr. Shivaraj Katapur, and Mr. Sunil Shegunshi, who provided expert healthcare services with great dedication and compassion. Their efforts were crucial in addressing the healthcare needs of the villagers and raising awareness about the importance of regular medical check-ups.
