Gawase, Khanapur | May 21, 2025 — Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Venugram Hospital, Belgaum, successfully conducted a free general health camp at Gawase village of Khanapur taluka on May 21, 2025. The initiative aimed to provide essential health services to underserved rural communities.
Nearly 40 villagers benefited from the camp, which included general health checkups, blood pressure (BP) monitoring, blood sugar testing, and consultation services.
The medical team from Venugram Hospital comprised Dr. Krutika Koli, Dr. Basavraj, Mrs. Roopa (Nurse), Mr. Yogesh Deshpande, and Mr. Jagadish Belgaonkar. Representing Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Santosh Kadam and Mr. Sandeep Patil were present and actively coordinated the event.
This initiative is part of Lok Kalp Foundation’s ongoing commitment to provide accessible healthcare in the remote and rural regions of Khanapur, aligning with its broader mission to support health, education, livelihood, and infrastructure development across 32 adopted villages.
