Belgaum, July 1, 2025
On the occasion of Doctors’ Day, Lok Kalp Foundation, a CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, organized a special felicitation ceremony to honor and express gratitude to the doctors and healthcare professionals who have supported healthcare outreach across 32 adopted villages in Khanapur taluka.
Doctors from Arihant Hospital, KLE Ayurvedic Hospital, Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital, and Venugram Hospital were felicitated for their continuous contribution to organizing and conducting free health camps in some of the most remote and forested regions of Belgaum district.
Additionally, Lok Kalp Foundation extended its heartfelt appreciation to other supporting hospitals — Hanji Hospital, Centra Care Hospital, and Porwal’s Hospital — for their association and commitment to community health initiatives through the Foundation.
These healthcare providers have offered services ranging from general consultations, Ayurvedic treatments, cataract surgeries, eye check-ups, diagnostics, and follow-up care, significantly improving the quality of life in underserved areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ajit Gargatti, Chairman of Lok Kalp Foundation, said:
“The efforts of these hospitals and their medical teams have been instrumental in bringing accessible healthcare to rural populations. Their service reflects the true spirit of compassion and commitment.”
Lok Kalp Foundation continues to drive development in its adopted villages through initiatives focused on Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, and Infrastructure.
