Lok Kalp Foundation, a CSR initiative by Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., in collaboration with Netradarshan Hospital – A Unit of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, successfully facilitated a free cataract operation for a patient from Kankumbi village on 18th August 2025.
The operation was performed by Dr. Jagdish Patil, bringing back the patient’s vision and improving their quality of life.
This initiative was carried out under the visionary leadership of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., with the aim of providing accessible and quality healthcare to rural communities.
The operation has not only restored the patient’s eyesight but has also given them a renewed sense of confidence and independence, highlighting the commitment of both organizations toward improving rural healthcare.
