Lok Kalp Foundation successfully organized a Screen Printing Training Program for the women from the 32 adopted villages of Khanapur. The initiative aims to empower rural women by providing them with new skills that can help them earn their livelihood and achieve financial independence.
The training session was conducted by Mr. Vijay Sathe, an expert in screen printing, who guided the participants through practical demonstrations and hands-on learning techniques. The women actively participated and learned how to design and print on various materials, which will help them generate income through local and small-scale production.
This initiative aligns with Lok Kalp Foundation’s broader vision of promoting livelihood development in rural communities. The Foundation, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., continues to focus on empowering women through vocational skill development and sustainable income-generating opportunities.
