Lok Kalp Foundation (lokkalp.org), in collaboration with Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital, a unit of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Anagol, Belgaum, successfully conducted free cataract surgeries for two patients from Kankumbi village on 10th November 2025.
The surgeries were skillfully performed by Dr. Jagadish Patil and Dr. Avadhoot Wagle, ensuring improved vision and better quality of life for the beneficiaries.
Representing Netradarshan Hospital, Mr. Uday Kumar (Assistant Manager) was present during the procedures. From Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Aniket Patil and Mr. Pritesh Potekar participated and coordinated the initiative.
This initiative was inspired by the visionary leadership of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. (lokmanyasociety.org), and reflects Lok Kalp Foundation’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare to rural communities.
