Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Pankh India Foundation, successfully organized a Free School Bag Stitching Training Program for the women of Kankumbi village on 17th & 18th November. This two-day training empowered women with essential stitching skills, helping them build a sustainable livelihood by producing school bags and other stitched items. The initiative was carried out under the inspiring vision of Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chairman of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., whose commitment to rural upliftment continues to drive meaningful community development.
The women expressed heartfelt gratitude for this opportunity, acknowledging that the training will help them gain confidence, financial independence, and improved livelihood prospects.
