Khanapur, December 17, 2025:
Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital – a unit of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, successfully conducted a Free Eye Camp at Habbanhatti Village, Khanapur Taluk, on 17/12/2025.
The camp benefited nearly 55 villagers, who underwent eye screening, including checks for cataract and other eye-related conditions. The initiative aimed at early detection and timely treatment of vision-related issues in rural communities. The medical team from Netradarshan Eye Hospital included Mr. Udaykumar, Assistant Manager; Mr. Aditya Alagudekar, Technician; and Ms. Sabha Rajagolakar, Optometrist, who ensured effective and smooth conduct of the camp. Representing Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Santosh Kadam and Mr. Sandeep Patil were present and actively coordinated the program. The camp was organized under the vision and guidance of Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chairman, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.
The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Lok Kalp Foundation and Netradarshan Eye Hospital for bringing quality eye care services to their doorstep. The initiative reflects Lok Kalp Foundation’s continued commitment to improving healthcare access in rural areas.
