Lok Kalp Foundation successfully donated sewing machines to women from Parwad, Talawade, Huland, Golyali, Bailur, Chikale, Chigule, Chorla, and Kankumbi villages on 08 January 2026, with the aim of promoting women’s empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.

This initiative has been undertaken to enable rural women to earn their livelihood and generate a steady income through tailoring and stitching activities, thereby strengthening their financial independence and self-reliance. The sewing machines will help women start home-based income-generating activities and support their families.

The donation program was carried out in the presence of Lok Kalp Director Mr. Kiran Gawade, along with Mr. Aniket Patil, Mr. Vitthal Khunure, Mr. Anant Gavade, Ms. Suhasini Pednekar, Mr. Kishor Naik, and Mr. Sandeep Patil, who actively supported and encouraged the beneficiaries during the event.

The women beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lok Kalp Foundation for this generous support, stating that the initiative would play a crucial role in improving their economic condition and boosting their confidence.

The program was guided and inspired by the vision of Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chairman of Lokmanya, who firmly believes in empowering women through skill development and livelihood opportunities to bring lasting social and economic change in rural communities.

Lok Kalp Foundation continues to work towards inclusive development by supporting women, farmers, students, and underserved communities through meaningful and sustainable initiatives.
