Khanapur, 13 January 2026:
Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Centracare Hospital, Belgaum, successfully conducted a Free General Health Camp at Jamboti village of Khanapur on 13/01/2026. The camp was organized to address basic healthcare needs in this remote village and witnessed active participation from the local community.
The health camp benefitted nearly 70 villagers, where sugar and blood pressure screening along with medical consultations were provided free of cost. The initiative aimed to promote early detection of health issues and create awareness about preventive healthcare among villagers.
The camp was led by Dr. Sana Hudali, along with dedicated nursing staff Prajyoth Hiremath and Vinayak Tamankar from Centracare Hospital. Representing Lok Kalp Foundation, Santosh Kadam, Harshada Jagtap, and Sandeep Patil were present and ensured the smooth coordination of the camp.
Villagers expressed their gratitude to Lok Kalp Foundation and Centracare Hospital for bringing quality healthcare services to their doorstep. The successful organization of the camp reflects the commitment of both organizations toward community health and rural development.
The initiative was inspired by the vision of Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chairman, Lokmanya, whose guidance continues to drive meaningful healthcare and social welfare interventions in underserved regions.
