On 6 February 2026, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd & Lokkalp Foundation in collaboration with Guruji Hospital organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp in Dari Village to provide basic eye care services to the rural community.
The main aim of the program was to improve awareness about eye health and to offer early screening for common vision problems. A total of 154 villagers participated in the camp, and there was a higher participation of senior citizens. During the check-ups, issues such as eye strain, dryness, and vision weakness were identified, and the required patients were given eye drops free of cost. Some participants were also guided for further treatment at Guruji Hospital. The camp was well received by the villagers and helped improve access to healthcare services in the village. Overall, the program was successful and created a positive impact on the community by promoting better eye health and early care.
