Usgao, Goa – February 23, 2026:

Lokkalp Foundation, the CSR wing of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society, under the visionary guidance of Mr. Kiran thakur, organized a free General, Dental, and Eye Check-up Camp at the Anganwadi in Usgao on the 23rd of February 2026. The initiative was held in collaboration with Voluntary Health Association Goa (VHAG) for general and dental services and with Matoshree Seva Dham, Mumbai (MAST) for eye care. The general camp offered free consultations, blood pressure and sugar level monitoring, and distribution of free medicines, while the dental camp provided free check-ups to villagers and students, promoting oral hygiene awareness. The eye camp included free consultations by specialists, and eyeglasses were made available at a nominal rate of ₹180, ensuring affordable vision care for the community.

More than 200 villagers and students benefitted from the services provided during the camp, making it a significant step toward accessible healthcare in rural areas. Lokkalp Foundation continues to uphold its mission of bridging healthcare gaps by organizing medical camps and awareness programs. Lokkalp foundations vision is to ensure that no villager is deprived of basic healthcare facilities. By organizing such camps, the foundation not only provides immediate medical support but also spread awareness about preventive care. Guided by its core principle of creating a lasting impact in the lives of villagers, lokkalp foundation remains committed to empowering communities and improving their overall well-being through sustainable and impactful initiatives.
