Lok Kalp Foundation conducted an awareness session at a BMC School in Aarey Colony, Mumbai on 7th March 2026. The session was conducted by Prasad Malik (Assistant CSR) for students from various standards. The school is attended by children from nearby areas, including tribal settlements in and around the national park.

During the session, he spoke about plastic recycling, the importance of proper waste segregation, and simple ways in which plastic waste can be handled responsibly. The students showed interest in the topic and actively participated in the discussion. The session aimed to help them understand how small daily actions can contribute to better waste management and environmental protection.

The school appreciated the initiative taken by Lok Kalp Foundation for spreading awareness and educating students about plastic recycling. The school authorities also expressed interest in conducting more such awareness sessions for their students in the future.
