A free eye check-up camp aimed at promoting community health and raising awareness about eye care was successfully conducted at Redi, Vengurla on March 16, 2026.
The camp was jointly organized by Lok Kalp Foundation, Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, and Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), with valuable support from Mauli Yuva Pratishthan, Redi. The initiative witnessed an encouraging response from the local community.
A total of 250 individuals participated in the camp and underwent comprehensive eye examinations. To ensure affordable and accessible vision care, spectacles were provided at a subsidized rate of ₹180. During the camp, 205 pairs of spectacles were distributed to beneficiaries.
The medical team from Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), led by Dr. Ketan Soni and supported by Mr. Sunil Mulik, Mr. Jaywant Mulik, and Mr. Uttej Parab, rendered dedicated services throughout the day, ensuring personalized attention and quality care for every patient.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all contributors, especially members of Mauli Yuva Pratishthan, Redi, and the support staff of Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, including Ms. Gouri Juvekar (CSR Assistant) and Mr. Chakrapani Gavandi (Branch Manager).
The collective effort and strong spirit of social service played a pivotal role in the camp’s success. The initiative significantly contributed to enhancing awareness about eye health and promoting overall public well-being in the region.
