Pat-Parule, Kudal – March 24, 2026: As part of its commitment to social welfare and women’s health, the Lok Kalp Foundation undertook an initiative to install ‘Sanitary Pad Incinerators’ at the S. L. Desai Vidyalaya and the Late Mrs. S. R. Patil Junior College in Pat-Parule.

These devices enable the safe disposal of used sanitary pads within the school premises, thereby mitigating health-related risks and ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the school’s restrooms.

This initiative by the Lok Kalp Foundation is regarded as a significant step taken towards empowering adolescent girls in rural and semi-urban areas, as well as promoting health and hygiene awareness.
