A free eye check-up camp was successfully organized on 8 April 2026 at Katta Malvan by Lok Kalp Foundation in collaboration with Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. The initiative aimed to promote community health and raise awareness about the importance of regular eye care.

The camp was jointly conducted by Lok Kalp Foundation, Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, and Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), with support from the Grampanchayat of Katta. The event received an encouraging response from the local community.

A total of 103 individuals participated and underwent comprehensive eye examinations. To ensure accessible and affordable vision care, spectacles were provided at a subsidized cost of ₹180, with 65 pairs distributed to beneficiaries.

The medical team from MAST, led by Dr. Ketan Soni and supported by Mr. Sunil Mulik, Mr. Jaywant Mulik, and Mr. Uttej Parab, provided dedicated service throughout the day, ensuring personalized attention and quality care for each patient.

The organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all contributors and support staff of Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, including Mr. Anand Prabhu Walawalkar (Branch Manager), Ms. Gouri Juvekar (CSR Assistant), Mr. Rohan Waradkar (Account Assistant), and Mrs. Dipika Walawalkar (Senior Account Assistant), for their invaluable efforts.

The collective dedication and spirit of social service played a vital role in the success of the camp. This initiative significantly contributed to raising awareness about eye health and promoting overall well-being in the region.
