The Lok Kalp Foundation successfully organized a free eye check-up camp at Nanos, Shiroda, in collaboration with the Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., with the aim of promoting community health and raising awareness about the importance of regular eye care.
The camp was conducted under the joint auspices of the Lok Kalp Foundation, the Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, and the Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), with valuable support from the Nanos Gram Panchayat. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from the local residents.
A total of 95 individuals participated in the camp and underwent comprehensive eye examinations. To ensure affordable access to vision care, spectacles were provided at a subsidized rate of ₹180, with 52 pairs distributed to beneficiaries.
The medical team, led by Dr. Ketan Soni and supported by Mr. Sunil Mulik, Mr. Jaywant Mulik, and Mr. Uttej Parab, offered dedicated services throughout the day. Each patient received individual attention, ensuring high-quality care and accurate diagnosis.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers and staff members of the Lokmanya Multipurpose Society for their valuable contributions. Special mention was made of Mrs. Amita Nanoskar (Sarpanch), Mr. Mukund Parab (Gram Sevak), Ms. Anuradha Masurkar (Branch Manager), Ms. Gouri Juvekar (CSR Assistant), and Mr. Pravin Kambli (Attender).
