Sangli, March 12: A free Eye Check-up Camp was organized at Samdoli High School, Samdoli by Lokkalp Foundation in collaboration with Aashadeep Hospital, Miraj. Around 400 students from 5th to 10th standard, along with teachers and school staff, benefited from the camp.

During the camp, eye examinations were conducted for students, including screening for cataract and other eye-related disorders. Guidance was also provided on early detection of eye diseases, prevention, and proper eye care. In addition, awareness about general health was also created among the participants.

On this occasion, Mr. Suraj Patil, Regional Marketing Manager of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., addressed the gathering and shared information about the organization’s various financial services and initiatives. He also highlighted the social, educational, and health-related activities carried out by Lokkalp Foundation, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to social responsibility.

The program was attended by Mr. Suraj Patil (Regional Marketing Manager) and Mr. Vaibhav Dabhade (CSR Assistant) from Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.

The camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman of the organization. Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that such health camps will continue to be organized in the future.
