Free Eye Check-up Camp Successfully Conducted by Lok Kalp Foundation at Konalkatta, Dodamarg

On the occasion of the birthday of Hon. Chairman Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Founder Chairman Lokmanya Multipurpose Co co so Ltd. , Lok Kalp Foundation organized a free eye check-up camp at Konalkatta, Dodamarg, on 7 April 2026. The initiative aimed to promote community health and raise awareness about the importance of eye care.
The camp was jointly organized by Lok Kalp Foundation, Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, and Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), with valuable support from Grampanchayat Konalkatta. The event received an encouraging response from the local community.
A total of 148 individuals participated and underwent comprehensive eye examinations. To ensure affordable and accessible vision care, spectacles were provided at a subsidized rate of ₹180. During the camp, 70 pairs of spectacles were distributed to beneficiaries.
The medical team from Matoshri Sevadham Arogya Seva Trust (MAST), led by Dr. Ketan Soni and supported by Mr. Sunil Mulik, Mr. Jaywant Mulik, and Mr. Uttej Parab, delivered dedicated services throughout the day, ensuring personalized attention and quality care for every patient.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all contributors, especially Mr. Ratnakar Prabhu (Sarpanch of Konalkatta), as well as the support staff of Lokmanya Multipurpose Society, including Ms. Gouri Juvekar (CSR Assistant), Mr. Sarvesh Prabhu (Account Assistant), and Mr. Sakharam Dalvi (Attender).
The collective effort and strong spirit of social service played a pivotal role in the camp’s success. The initiative significantly contributed to enhancing awareness about eye health and promoting overall public well-being in the region.
