Introduction
An Eye & General checkup Camp was successfully organized by Lok Kalp Foundation, Lions Club Eye Hospital & Sadichha hospital at Valake Village with the objective of providing basic eye care services to the rural population. The initiative aimed to identify vision-related & health-relates issues, create awareness about eye health, and provide necessary guidance and support to the villagers.
Objectives
To provide free eye check-up & general check-up services to villagers
To identify common vision problems such as cataract, refractive errors, etc.
To raise awareness about eye care and hygiene.
To guide patients requiring further treatment or surgery
Camp Details
The camp was set up in a well-organized temporary arrangement with seating and registration facilities. A team of qualified doctors, assistants in the camp. Basic eye examinations were conducted using standard equipment.

Identification of cataract cases for further surgery
From 1500 cataract surgery for those patients who found cataracts in this camp
Beneficiaries-
A total of 50 plus villagers attended the camp.
Impact
The camp proved beneficial in early detection of eye problems & health issues among villagers who otherwise have limited access to healthcare facilities. It also helped spread awareness about maintaining eye hygiene and regular check-ups.
Conclusion
The Eye Check-up & General Checkup Camp at Valake Village was a successful initiative towards improving rural healthcare. The support from the medical team, and local community played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the camp.
