On 16 January 2025, Lok Kalp Foundation organized a Candle-Making Training Session in Belgaum, aimed at empowering women from the adopted villages of Khanapur. This initiative provided participants with the skills to create candles, enabling them to generate an income and support their families.
The training session was led by Pranoti Adimani, who shared her expertise with the women, ensuring they gained hands-on experience in the art of candle-making. Women from the 32 villages adopted by Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd. actively participated in the session, benefiting from this opportunity to develop a sustainable livelihood.
Lok Kalp Foundation remains committed to uplifting rural communities by organizing skill-based training programs and supporting self-reliance among women. This initiative marks yet another milestone in the foundation’s journey of creating meaningful change.
