Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital, a unit of Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Angol, Belgaum, successfully conducted a Free Eye Camp on 15th April 2025 at Chikale village, Khanapur Taluka.
The camp benefitted nearly 45 villagers, where essential services such as cataract screening, vision testing, and general eye check-ups were provided free of cost. The objective of the camp was to ensure early detection of eye-related issues and spread awareness about eye health in rural areas.
The camp was led by Mr.Pushpak Kalaghatagi (Optometrist), Mr.Sachin Gali (Store Manager) and Mr. Uday Kumar (Assistant Manager) from Netradarshan. From Lok Kalp Foundation, Sandeep Patil and Anant Gawade were present to coordinate and assist in the smooth conduct of the camp.
The villagers expressed their gratitude for the initiative, and the Foundation remains committed to organizing such healthcare activities regularly to uplift rural health standards.
