Belgaum, [17/05/2025] – In a significant move towards women empowerment and livelihood generation, Lok Kalp Foundation, the CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, has successfully donated 25 sewing machines to 25 women from villages in the Jamboti area of Khanapur Taluka.
This initiative aims to support rural women in becoming self-reliant by enabling them to start their own tailoring work and earn a sustainable livelihood.
The distribution event witnessed the presence of CSR Manager Malini Bali, B.T. College Principal Pooja Patkar, along with Aniket Patil, Santosh Kadam, Sandeep Patil, Anant Sawant, Tukaram Birje, and Balwant Shengale. The dignitaries encouraged the women and applauded their willingness to step forward and become economically independent.
Lok Kalp Foundation continues its dedicated work in the adopted 32 villages of Khanapur through impactful projects in healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and livelihood support, ensuring inclusive growth and development in rural areas.
