The Consumer Shopper Exhibition, held at Don Bosco, Panjim, Goa from 28th May to 1st June 2025, became a thriving platform for the Lokkalp Foundation, showcasing its unique collection of organic and handmade pottery products. Over the course of five vibrant days, the exhibition attracted thousands of enthusiastic visitors, turning into a hub of cultural, social, and commercial interaction.
The Lokkalp Foundation, a dedicated CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society, used this opportunity to present the remarkable talent of local artisans. Every pottery piece exhibited reflected a blend of traditional craftsmanship, sustainable practices, and modern-day aesthetics. Visitors were highly engaged, expressing admiration for the quality, design, and the purpose behind the products — supporting community empowerment through self-reliant, eco-friendly production.
Beyond strong product sales, the exhibition enabled the Foundation to build brand awareness, forge new collaborations, and interact directly with the end consumer, gathering valuable insights and feedback. Many attendees praised the initiative’s role in preserving India’s cultural heritage while simultaneously providing livelihood opportunities to rural artisans, especially women and marginalized groups.
This exhibition also underscored Lokkalp’s broader mission — not just as a seller of handmade products, but as a movement focused on social impact. Through events like this, the Foundation continues to spread its message of sustainability, inclusivity, and entrepreneurship.
The success of the exhibition reaffirmed the potential of such platforms in bridging the gap between conscious consumers and ethical producers. Lokkalp Foundation’s participation was not only commercially rewarding but also deeply aligned with its core values of community upliftment, environmental responsibility, and cultural preservation.
