Lok Kalp Foundation, a CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd., successfully organized a Cloth Bag and Diya Painting Training Program in Belgaum for women from the 32 adopted villages.
The training, conducted by Mrs. Radhika P. Barve, was aimed at empowering women with livelihood skills that will help them generate income and achieve financial independence. The program provided hands-on knowledge in stitching eco-friendly cloth bags and creative diya painting techniques, enabling the participants to explore sustainable avenues for self-employment.
The event witnessed the presence of Mr. Kiran Gawade, Director of Lok Kalp Foundation, who interacted with the women and encouraged them to utilize the training for their personal and community development.
The program was inspired and guided by the vision of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur (Chairman, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd.), whose dream is to uplift rural communities through focused interventions in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, and Infrastructure.
The participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lok Kalp Foundation for providing them with this valuable opportunity that combines skill development with self-reliance.
