Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Venugram Hospital, successfully organized a Free General Health Camp at Chikale Village of Khanapur on 09 September 2025. The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the rural community and benefitted nearly 70 villagers through general health checkups.
The medical team from Venugram Hospital included Dr. Nirmala M, Sister Nethra, PRO Jagadish Belgaonkar, and PRO Yogesh Deshpande, who extended their dedicated support during the camp. From Lok Kalp Foundation, Anant Gawade and Sandeep Patil were present and actively contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
The initiative was inspired by the visionary leadership of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., whose mission is to uplift rural communities through healthcare, education, livelihood, and infrastructure development.
The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lok Kalp Foundation and Venugram Hospital for this generous effort in making healthcare accessible in remote regions.
