Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Netradarshan Super Speciality Eye Hospital – a unit of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, successfully conducted a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Devachihatti Village, Khanapur, on 15th October 2025.
The camp benefitted nearly 40 villagers, providing them with free eye examinations, vision screenings, and consultations. The initiative aimed to ensure better eye health and early detection of vision-related issues among rural communities.
The medical team from Netradarshan Hospital included Miss Saba Rajagoli (Optometrist), Mr. Uday Kumar (Assistant Manager), and Mr. Aditya Alagudikar (Technician), who rendered their dedicated services to the villagers. From Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Santosh Kadam and Mr. Sandeep Patil were present during the camp to facilitate and support the event.
The initiative was inspired by the vision of Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Chairman, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., to provide quality healthcare and wellness services to rural and underprivileged communities.
