20th October 2025

Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society, successfully donated clothes collected from a donation drive held across the Mumbai region. The clothes were handed over to rag pickers working at the Waste Collection Centre run by BMC and SEWA Foundation. The collection included winter wear, festive clothes, and daily wear, all of which were clean, neatly packed, and sorted separately for men, women, and children. These donations will directly reach the families of the workers, helping them celebrate Diwali with comfort and dignity.

Representing Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society were: Mr. Dominic Dsouza (Regional Sales Manager), Mr. Satish Sonar (Regional Marketing Manager), Mr. Shubham Rathod (Regional HR Manager), Mr. Pranil Shivalkar (Mutual Fund Coordinator), and Mr. Prasad Malik (Assistant CSR). From SEWA Foundation, Ms. Muskaan Patel (CSR Specialist) and Mr. Sachin Thikekar (Sustainability Manager – Operations) were present. Rag pickers and SEWA Foundation members expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society and Lok Kalp Foundation for their noble and compassionate initiative, bringing joy and warmth this festive season.
