Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Lokmanya Multi-Purpose Society Pvt. Ltd., successfully conducted a free awareness session on menstrual hygiene and menstrual cycle tracking for students at V. S. Khandekar Vidhyalay, Sawantwadi. The session aimed to educate young girls about menstrual health, promote confidence, and encourage safe hygiene practices.
The session was conducted by esteemed gynecologist Dr. Gauri Ganpatye, who provided valuable insights on the importance of menstrual hygiene, best practices for staying healthy during menstruation, and practical guidance on understanding and tracking the menstrual cycle. Her informative and supportive approach helped students gain clarity and confidence regarding menstrual health.
Sanitary Pad Distribution: As part of the initiative, 50 sanitary pads were distributed to ensure students have immediate access to essential menstrual products.
