Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Lokmanya Multi-Purpose Society Pvt. Ltd., successfully conducted a free awareness session on menstrual hygiene and menstrual cycle tracking for students on 08 December 2025 at Vengurla High School, Vengurla.
The session was led by esteemed gynecologist Dr. Gauri Ganpatye, who shared valuable insights on the fundamental importance of menstrual hygiene, best practices for staying healthy during menstruation, and practical guidance on understanding and monitoring the menstrual cycle. Thanks to Dr. Ganpatye’s informative, friendly, and supportive approach, students gained confidence, awareness, and practical knowledge regarding menstrual health.
As part of the initiative, 160 sanitary pads were distributed to ensure immediate access to essential menstrual products.
