Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Unicare Health Centre, successfully organized a free and complete health check-up camp on 27 January 2026 in Malad, Mumbai.
The camp received an encouraging response from the local community, with over 60 residents participating, a large number of whom were senior citizens. The initiative aimed at making essential healthcare services easily accessible to residents within their neighborhood.
The health check-up camp included basic medical screenings such as blood pressure monitoring, pulse diagnosis, BMI assessment, and diabetes testing. After the screenings, participants were provided with free doctor consultations and diet counseling to help them better understand and manage their health. An eye check-up facility was also arranged as part of the camp.
Additionally, medicines, spectacles, and other medical tests were made available at discounted rates, ensuring affordable healthcare support for the participants.
The residents expressed their appreciation and gratitude towards Lok Kalp Foundation and Unicare Health Centre for organizing the camp and addressing the healthcare needs of the community, particularly benefiting senior citizens.
