Kalmani (Khanapur), 10/02/2026: Lok Kalp Foundation in association with Arihant Hospital, Belgaum, successfully conducted a Free General Health Camp at Kalmani Village in Khanapur taluka on 10th February 2026.

The health camp benefited nearly 45 villagers, who underwent general health screenings including blood pressure (BP), blood sugar testing, and basic medical consultations. The initiative aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and ensuring early detection of common health concerns among rural residents.

The medical team from Arihant Hospital included Dr. Pooja Varji, Nursing Staff Laxmi Patil, Insurance Coordinator Tejashwini P, and Insurance Representative Mallikarjun B. From Lok Kalp Foundation, Mr. Santosh Kadam and Mr. Sandeep Patil were present and actively coordinated the camp.

The event was carried out under the visionary guidance of Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chairman, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society, whose continued leadership and commitment to community welfare inspire such impactful healthcare initiatives in rural areas.
