Lok Kalp Foundation in association with Canara Bank-Belgaum is proud to announce a significant contribution in Bringing smiles and spreading Happiness to the students of 32 villages through the donation of 50 Hero Cycles. This generous donation is a part of Lok Kalp’s and its Founder and Chairman
Shri. Kiran D. Thakur’s ongoing efforts to fulfill the mission and goals of the foundation.
These cycles will serve as a means of sustainable transportation and save children’s traveling time. These children walk nearly 15 km everyday one way to reach the school. Lok Kalp Foundation is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of 32 villages adopted by us. This donation is significant step towards achieving our vision and mission.
Why Cycle Matters:
Improved School Attendance: Many Children face long and challenging commutes to school, which can be a barrier to regular attendance. Providing bicycles will make the Journey to school faster and easier
Empowerment and confidence: Owning a bicycle instills a sense of ownership and responsibility, fostering self esteem and a sense of achievement among the children
