A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
In a noble initiative, Venugram Hospital, in collaboration with Lok Kalp Foundation, conducted a free general health camp in Gawase village on October 22. Gawase village, situated near Khanapur, lacks access to medical facilities and doctors, forcing residents to travel to nearby towns for treatment. The health camp provided free medical consultations, medicines, and expert guidance on improving hemoglobin levels and overall stamina.
Dr. Sana Hudali, leading the medical team, said, “This initiative demonstrates our dedication to providing quality healthcare services to rural communities.”
Lok Kalp Foundation, a CSR initiative of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., has adopted 32 villages, including Gawase, focusing on community development and healthcare initiatives. The health camp benefited over 50 residents, who expressed gratitude for the timely intervention.
