A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
Amgaon, November 6, 2024 – Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Venugram Hospital, organized a free health camp in Amgaon village, providing much-needed medical services to local residents. The camp was a success, with 80 community members benefiting from free health check-ups, consultations, and basic treatments.
Key participants in the camp included Dr. Yaseen, who led the medical consultations, Sister Deepa, who managed nursing support, and Venugram Hospital’s PRO, Jagdish Belgaonkar. Lok Kalp Foundation staff members Kishor Naik and Sandeep Patil were also present, playing vital roles in coordinating the event.
The camp offered services such as blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, general health assessments, and preventive healthcare guidance. A representative from Lok Kalp Foundation expressed satisfaction with the turnout, stating, “This health camp reflects our commitment to enhancing healthcare access in rural areas and ensuring the well-being of the community.”
The villagers expressed their gratitude for the accessible healthcare services provided, and Lok Kalp Foundation, along with Venugram Hospital, plans to hold similar initiatives in nearby areas to continue supporting rural healthcare needs.
