A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
Maan Village, Khanapur, November 20, 2024 – Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Netradarshan Eye Hospital, successfully organized a free eye and health check-up camp in Maan Village, Khanapur. The initiative aimed to provide vital healthcare and eye care services to the rural community, receiving an overwhelming response from residents.
Key participants in the camp included Dr. Rahul and Kartik from Netradarshan Eye Hospital, along with PRO Uday Kumar, who played pivotal roles in the event. Supporting the initiative were Lok Kalp Foundation staff members Aniket Patil and Sandeep Patil, as well as volunteers Santosh Kadam, Anant Gawade, and their team, who ensured smooth coordination and execution of the camp.
The camp provided a wide range of services, including eye check-ups, basic health screenings, and consultations for preventive and corrective care. Many residents benefited from the services, with those requiring further treatment referred to specialized facilities.
A representative from Lok Kalp Foundation expressed pride in the initiative’s success, stating, “Our focus is to enhance healthcare accessibility in underserved areas, and this camp is a step toward ensuring better health outcomes for rural communities.”
