A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
Lok Kalp Foundation, in partnership with KLE Ayurvedic Hospital, successfully organized a free health check-up camp at Amboli Village in Khanapur on November 28, 2024. The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the rural community and was a resounding success, benefiting 54 villagers.
The health camp was led by a team of medical professionals including Dr. Santosh, Dr. Venkatesh, and Dr. Rutuja Patil, who provided medical consultations, health screenings, and expert advice. KLE Ayurvedic Hospital’s PRO Shreedhar and Mr. Narayan were also present to ensure the smooth operation of the event.
Lok Kalp Foundation staff members Prasad Asukar and Sandeep Patil, along with volunteer Anant Gawade, played a crucial role in managing the camp and assisting with the registration and coordination of the beneficiaries.
The camp offered comprehensive services such as general health check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, and personalized health advice. In addition to providing immediate medical assistance, the camp also focused on educating villagers on preventive healthcare measures, early diagnosis, and maintaining overall wellness.
A spokesperson from Lok Kalp Foundation expressed their gratitude, stating, “This health camp is a step toward bridging the healthcare gap in rural areas. Our mission is to make healthcare more accessible to underserved communities, and we are proud of the positive impact we’ve made in Amboli Village. We are committed to continuing this work in other villages as well.”
The villagers expressed their heartfelt thanks for the free healthcare services provided and look forward to future initiatives aimed at improving their health and quality of life.
