Lok Kalp Foundation, in collaboration with Pankh India Foundation, successfully organized a menstrual health awareness and hygiene session for schoolgirls in Golyali village. This impactful initiative benefitted nearly 60 rural girls by equipping them with reusable pads and essential knowledge to manage menstrual health effectively and confidently.

The interactive workshop, led by Mrs. Gouree Manjarekar, President of Pankh India Foundation, and Ms. Suhasini Pednekar, volunteer from Lok Kalp Foundation, covered the following key topics:

Menstrual awareness and hygiene practices.
Proper disposal methods for menstrual products.
Recognizing health concerns and understanding when to consult a gynecologist.
This initiative aims to empower young girls with knowledge and tools to break the stigma surrounding menstruation while promoting better health and hygiene practices. The participants and their school expressed gratitude for this invaluable session, which has made a positive impact on their lives.
