Lok Kalp Foundation Donates/Gifted Sweaters to Government School Parwad Village

The Lok Kalp Foundation organized a significant sweater Donation/Gifted event in the adopted Parwad village government school. The event took place on August 7, 2024, near Kankumbi village at the Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa border.  Lok Kalp Foundation is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program by Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited. It is an initiative by Dr. Kiran D. Thakur, Founder and Chairman Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd, Editor & chief of Tarun Bharat Daily Belgaum, to create lasting changing in the lives of the people of the villages.

The Lok Kalp Foundation, known for its commitment to community welfare, provided high-quality sweaters to the Parwad village government school. The donation is especially timely, given the approaching rainy/cooler months, ensuring that the village’s government school, children, stay warm and comfortable.

The event was attended by Mr. Anant Gawade and Mr. Vithal Kunnure and village people. The school principal, teachers, and staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude, with many highlighting the importance of such contributions in improving the quality of student’s life in their community and Parwad village.
