A CSR initiative by Lokmanya
Lok Kalp Foundation is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program by Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited. It is an initiative by Shri Kiran D. Thakur, Founder and Chairman Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd., editor & Chief of Tarun Bharat Daily Belgaum, to create lasting changing in the lives of the people of the villages. Lok Kalp Foundation has adopted 32 villages in Khanapur Taluka near Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa border.
Union Bank of India, in collaboration with Lok Kalp Foundation, has made a generous contribution to Olmani Government School by donating 15 school benches on August 16, 2024. This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting education and improving learning environments for students in need. The donation is a step towards fostering better educational opportunities for the children at Olmani Government School.

Melage, P. R. Gurav and other village Grampanchayat members and village peoples were present for the event and appreciated as well.
